Been a while….

So ya, it’s been a little while since I’ve posted. *grins* I figured I aught to even though I have no clue if anyone actually ever reads this… *crickets chirping* Yup. So where to begin! How about we go in alphabetical order! LOL!

Anime: *Waits for external hard drive to boot up.* Neither can I spell nor remember what I watch… Recently, as in the last few months, I’ve finished Kekkaishi, Shounen Onmyouji, and Shion no Ou. All pretty awesome series! The ending of Shion was a little whacked out but I still enjoyed it. I’m waiting for a second season of Kekkaishi. *crosses fingers* So what am I watching? Everything? I need to catch up on tons and I’m waiting on several so I’m not watching one episode a week. That’s really bad for my health you know. I REALLY need to finish Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. We have 3 more episodes to watch, we’ve had 3 more episodes to watch for several months now, but I can’t bring myself to finish it. So much pain!!! Really new stuff I’m watching (along with the dozen other shows I’m currently watching), Nabari no Ou (ninjas, very good), Nijuu Mensou no Musume (The Daughter of Twenty Faces), Wagaya no Oinari-sama, and Amatsuki.

Books: I haven’t been reading anything too deep recently. LOL! I’m waiting for the last book in the Twilight series. *Edward!* But I’ve read a few books by Diana Wynne Jones in the last month and a new one by Mercedes Lackey. (I couldn’t remember her name and had to look up knight mage on wiki. I love wiki. <3 ) But yes, Edward. *faints* I’m going to have to bargain for some toddler free time so I can read that. If I was feeling more energetic I would be bouncing in my seat right now. *shifts butt* That’s close.

Computer: My computer and I are on good terms right now. It doesn’t die on me and I don’t let the one year old goober the keys. It’s a good arrangement. *he-he* Though I don’t know what those spots are on my tower…

Real Life: Ya… Want to know what’s on my mind right now? I’m going to have to spray for bugs because we have box elder bugs doing naughty things on our front porch. I have young children you know! That’s really inconsiderate and very inappropriate of them. *sighs*

Website: I’m still converting my pages to XHTML. I haven’t done any for awhile and I need to get back to it. I have 2 other current projects right now! One, I’ve been encouraged by a good web friend to do a fan listing for Puddifoot’s. So I am currently working on a Harry Potter Web Graphics Fan Listing. Though I tried to get it listed at fanlistings.com and they said they already have someone in that category though they really don’t. The site in question is actually for fans of drawn HP fan art. FL.com is considering that the same thing. *heads desk* I haven’t replied yet. I’m waiting until I feel like I can say something civil to that… My other project is one that is already up as of today! I volunteered to help someone learn html and web site design from scratch so I’ve set up a mini site, http://puddifoots.net/webdesign, where I will be posting lessons. It should be fun. Though I’m really bad at being technical and I’m more like “Well, you do this and this and this. Why? Because you do.” But I’m trying!!

So much Anime…

Having allot of Anime to watch isn’t a bad thing though! I just finished Dennou Coil last week! It was awesome! It started a little slow but was incredibly intense for most of the last half of the anime. I think that I watched the last 6 episodes all in a row. It’s definitely one that I would recommend.

New anime: Bamboo Blade. It’s about a girls kendo team. It probably falls under slice of life anime (which is usually not my thing) but it’s really great and pretty funny as well! While it is an all girls team it’s not a “harem anime”. So far it’s really just about the girls and there’s no freaky drama stuff going on. It’s another one I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something fun and entertaining.

Tsukuyomi Moon Phase: This is an “older one” that I’m just getting around to. I’m on about episode 7 and it’s been great so far! I like the angsty vampire stuff but I don’t like the gore that is usually involved in most vampire animes so this fun dramedy is about right!

Though tonight I think I’ll take a break and watch Ballet Shoes. On Wednesday we watched the Doctor Who Christmas special and it was wonderful of course!! Now I just have to wait till Spring for season 4. *angst pains* Though I’ll have *hopefully* Stargate Atlantis and Eureka before then. But that probably really just depends on the writers strike. Ya for Anime and British TV!!

Channeling Snape…

I finally did a Christmas banner for my site. I’m a little slow like usual. I found a great winter tutorial at goodtutorials.com *fave* and added Snape in a Santa hat and viola! I love dressing up Snape! So a couple of days ago I made a matching wallpaper so I would have something Christmasy on my desktop. It’s so purty!!! *grins* Now, after making a fun Snapey wallpaper what should I do next? I made a sad/sappy Sanpey wallpaper. Of course Trent Reznor was channeling Snape. Ya… I know that there’s really no way that Snape is actually a closet hottie waiting to spring forth and that he’s actually hiding a six pack and buns of steel under those black flowing robes of his… It’s all Allen Rickman’s fault! Curses for skewing our visual perspective of Snivellus!! Somedays it’s just not fair.

So I’m doing my Harry Potter 12 days of Christmas again this year! I didn’t do it last year but it’s been pretty fun in the past. I just made the graphics but I think I was still feeling sappy from that Snape wallpaper. Next year I’ll probably do an Anime 12 days of Christmas. That could be fun… *evil grin*

Logging in…

Whoa. I’m actually on!! After several failed attempts to get on to post because “life” kept happening and then when I would get on and try to post the page would redirect to a blank screen every time I’d click on the write post tab. So ya…

Baby has had a few late nights recently so I’ve been catching up on my Anime! *grins* I finally finished The Third about 2 weeks ago. It was pretty good and had an acceptable ending. Though it had allot of narration and that always bugs me. Besides that it was fun and the feel good ending made it worth the time spent watching it. I hate it when I spend several hours watching a good anime for it to have a completely terrible ending. It doesn’t have to be a happy ending but it should be acceptable at least. I’ve also finally watched Nausica (loved it!) and watched another great movie by Gonzo called Origin. Amazing animation and great ending!!

New Animes… Dennou Coil – Not a fan of the animation but the story is pretty interesting. Shion no Ou – It’s about a girl with a tragic past who plays shogi. It’s pretty good so far. It’s definitely in the drama category and I hope that it dosen’t get too heavy.

Besides watching lots of Anime lately I started a new book. The Nanny Diaries. Not my usual preferred reading material but I really like it so far. I don’t often read many “true to life” novels. I prefer sci-fi/fantasy and mysteries.

Baby just fell asleep and so has my hand. I better wake one of them up….

Something new…

Well here’s to a new start! I’ve been hosting my own blog for awhile now and decided to let someone else host it. *grins* I even tried LJ for a bit but it just wasn’t right for me. So here I am!! And so far so good! I just need to personalize the layout a bit and a few other things…  *he-he* I really like the spell check!! I used to write my entry in word first and it just became a drag. I am living proof that you can read tons and have a wide vocabulary and still spell horribly!! @_@

 So! That’ll be it for now! I need to watch some anime and make some updates to my web site before I have more to say.. *BWAHAHAHAHA!!* Ehem.
